Description

This blue & yellow repurposed textile bracelet does good on two fronts. Each is handmade by women artisans in India, and also helps get aid to the people of Ukraine. This beautifully carded design also makes a great gift item. Features two tassels. Each piece is made from recycled textiles, so shades may vary.

We donate a portion of proceeds from these bracelets to the Global Giving Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. We are thrilled to have donated $28,040 to this cause.

Each bead is crafted from upcycled Sari fabrics wrapped around a wooden bead base (which is from old furniture scraps!) by a woman artisan in India through fair trade partnerships.

Bracelet measures approx. 7-8" in circumference; stretches to fit most. Beads measure 0.25″ wide.

On June 6, 2023, there was a massive explosion at a hydroelectric power plant which destroyed a critical dam, causing extensive flooding and damage, displacing thousands, and contaminating drinking water. With the help of donations, Global Giving was able to rapidly launch an emergency response and fund evacuation and resettlement assistance, as well as lifesaving support for the flooding.
